Brandy and Ray J trended for two days, because of Jack Harlow. When Jack Harlow visited Hot 97, he learned Brandy and Ray J were siblings. Prior to Ebro telling him, Jack Harlow had no idea. From how Jack Harlow was originally acting, he didn’t know who Brandy was at all. However, Jack Harlow later explained he knew who both Brandy and Ray J were. The only thing Jack Harlow didn’t know is that they were siblings.
Brandy is used to people referring to Ray J as “Brandy’s brother.” The Jack Harlow incident led to Brandy being referred to as “Ray J’s sister,” however. Given Brandy’s history, that had to take a blow to her ego. While Ray J is more popular now, Brandy was once the biggest name in music, period. Not only did Brandy go 6x platinum, in 1998, she also had the most popular teen sitcom on TV.
Brandy and Ray J have both been quiet, while the internet has taken Jack Harlow on. However, Brandy is known for her petty social media comebacks. This morning, Brandy came for Jack Harlow, saying she would get him on his own beat, and then sing him to sleep at age 43. Later, Brandy came back, and said that she was just playing.
