Cam’ron threatens to sue Melyssa Ford for defamation of character
Cam’ron has successfully reinvented himself as a media personality. Not only did he and Mase put their issues to the side, but they reunited to create a popular podcast. This year, they secured an eight figure deal to keep their show going. However, despite this, Melyssa Ford accused them both of being with underaged girls in an old photo. After that, she apologized. But this hasn’t stopped Cam’ron from speaking out against Ford, Joe Budden, and the podcast.
Cam’ron was one of the most popular rappers of the mid-2000s. Throughout his career, Cam always was well-known in New York City. However, when he signed with Roc-A-Fella, Cam became known on a national level. To date, Come Home With Me remains Cam’s highest-selling album. That album included the hits, “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma,” both featuring Juelz Santana. In addition, this was the album that officially introduced Dipset to the nation.
Cam’ron saw his run come to an end, with his music last being viable in 2009, commercially. Since then, he’s dropped solid mixtapes. But when it comes to relevance, Cam returned doing media. First, there was the home design show. After that, there was his work with MTV. Now, Cam’ron and Mase have their podcast, “It Is What It Is.” Recently, Melyssa Ford accused them both of being with underaged girls, so now Cam speaks out. First of all, he said he and Mase were also underaged. Also, he has hinted at filing a defamation of character suit against Melyssa Ford and Joe Budden.
