Cardi B awarded at least $1 million in Tasha K libel case

Cardi B has been attempting to win a libel case against blogger, Tasha K, since 2019. At the time, she sued, after being called a prostitute, and was also accused of doing drugs and having STIs.

Now, Cardi has officially won this case. According to TMZ, she has been awarded at least $1 million. Tasha was found liable on three separate claims, as she initially posted videos about her Cardi assumptions.

In 2017, Cardi B took over the game, with “Bodak Yellow.” The following year, Cardi B dropped her debut album. Cardi B is the only female rapper in history to top Billboard Hot 100 three times, as a lead artist.

This trial lasted for a week, as Cardi also testified. In court, she went on to claim that she had suicidal thoughts, as a result of what Tasha K was telling the public about her. Any possible punitive damages that Tasha will also have to pay Cardi, will be decided at another hearing.

Fans have still been showing support for Cardi, as they’re glad that this case resulted in the way it did. Many believe that the assumptions that Tasha was making, were false as well.
