Currently, Cardi B remains one of the hottest artists in the music industry. Yeah, she’s cooled some from where she was, towards the end of 2017, but that run was always going to slow down. Now, the real question of Cardi B having longevity is out there.
Cardi B has a much bigger platform than most artists, both established and rising. Because of this, she managed to rise at a much stronger rate than her peers. This backbone, of course, is “Love & Hip Hop,” a show she actually breathed life into, herself.
Many people tried writing Cardi B off as a one-hit-wonder, but she immediately proved she could make another hit. When “Bartier Cardi” blew up, people still credited “Bodak Yellow,” and the 21 Savage feature. But, with the “Bartier Cardi” video coming on Monday, during “Love & Hip Hop,” she amassed 100 million streams on Spotify.
