Cardi B claps back at criticism for delaying album

The wait is still ongoing, for Cardi B to finally release her sophomore album. There still hasn’t been any confirmed title or release date for this project.

It’s been over four and a half years since Cardi has released any project, as her previous one was her 2018 debut album, “Invasion Of Privacy.” At the time, that debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and had two diamond-certified records. Those were “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny.

However, on Twitter, Cardi is being criticized for still not putting out the sophomore album yet. In since-deleted tweets, Cardi went off, about this situation. She claimed that she’s still eating good off of her diamond records, and that she isn’t afraid of low album sales. The low sales part that was mentioned by a fan, is in reference to Saweetie’s “The Single Life” EP.

“I’m never afraid of numbers honey,” said Cardi. “And I don’t gotta put an another album if I want to I EATS GOOD OF MY diamond records alone [wink emoji]. Don’t drag other b*tches to make your point drag the man that’s running their mouth…Grown man!”

This year, Cardi has delivered one single, though. This is “Hot Sh*t” featuring Lil Durk and Kanye West, as it debuted at number 13 in the US.
