Cardi B inadvertently exposed some tension really did take place, at the Grammys. Reports surfaced that there was an altercation between Offset and Quavo. During the Grammys, Quavo performed his tribute to Takeoff. Reports said Offset tried to be involved and things got tense with he and Quavo. However, when news surfaced, Offset quickly denied it.
Cardi B went from being a reality TV star to being a global music icon. Many overlook this now, but Cardi’s first music co-sign came from Offset. While Migos were hot, at the time, Quavo was clearly the star of the show. However, after 2017, Offset became the most popular Migos member. By 2019, there were rumors of friction. In 2022, Quavo and Takeoff formed their own duo.
Cardi B has spoken on how distraught Offset has been since Takeoff’s passing. All business aside, people overlook that Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo are all biological family. As a result, the family bond is always there. However, there is clearly tension. Despite Offset denying any kind of altercation, Entertainment Tonight captured an argument. Clearly, Cardi can be heard screaming at both to knock it off, just before Quavo’s Grammys performance.
