Cardi B says that sophomore album is coming
It’s been a very long time, since Cardi B last released a project. That came back in April, 2018, when she released her Billboard 200 chart-topping debut studio album, “Invasion Of Privacy.” That was one of the biggest debut albums in history, as Cardi had two diamond singles there. Those were her 2017 “Bodak Yellow” single, as well as “I Like It,” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
Meanwhile, Cardi is updating fans on the status of her sophomore album. She took to Instagram Live this weekend, to say that it’s “coming,” and expressed excitement about her upcoming single. However, there is still no clear release date for Cardi’s album, nor her single.
This update also comes as Cardi headlined the first ever Rolling Loud festival in Thailand, last month. There is also a possibility that she may appear on the remix to Bronx rapper Scar Lip’s breakout “This Is New York” single. Busta Rhymes is already confirmed to appear on the remix so far, as he and Scar recently previewed that.
