Earlier this month, hip-hop lost one of its most popular stars, in Takeoff. The Migos rapper was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley, after Quavo was seen in an argument with a group of men. 10 shots were fired, as Takeoff was accidentally hit in the torso and head.

Takeoff’s funeral went on to be held in his hometown of Atlanta, inside State Farm Arena. Quavo, Offset, Drake, Takeoff’s mother, and others spoke, and gave beautiful speeches. Justin Bieber and Chloe Bailey were also among the performers.

However, many people within Takeoff’s circle are understandably still grieving heavily. This includes Offset, who had been in the Migos group with him.

Now, in a new interview with The Neighborhood Talk, Cardi B spoke about the emotions that Offset is going through. As a result, she explained how she feels hopeless trying to make him happy now, and that she feels heartbroken seeing him randomly cry.

“We don’t want no sympathy,” Cardi explained. “We ain’t no charity case, but no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him crack a smile.”
