Last month, 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford came out and apologized for his previous feud with Megan Thee Stallion, which began in 2020. Megan initially signed to the Houston-based record label in 2018, and is still under contract. The disputes initially began in March 2020, after Megan claimed that she couldn’t release new music.

However, Crawford brought in a new team at 1501, and also emphasized that he’d like to reconcile his business relationship with Megan. Therefore, it was also recently announced that she would be performing at the AT&T Block Party in her hometown of Houston, on March 31. This event is in preparation of the NCAA Final 4 taking place in the city, which is theNCAA March Madness Music Festival. In the games, Florida Atlantic is taking on San Diego State, and Miami is facing off against Connecticut.

Ahead of Megan’s performance, Crawford and 1501 have released another statement. As a result, they labeled her as the “Queen of the Hotties” and “one of the “most iconic female artists of our time.” Crawford added that a new album is also coming from Meg, as well as her first headlining world tour. 1501 wants to support her in all her endeavors, as well as welcoming her back to Houston.
