Chlöe’s debut solo single “Have Mercy” goes platinum 

In 2021, Chlöe Bailey started to see even more massive success, while releasing solo music. That fall, she put out her debut single, “Have Mercy,” as it instantly went viral on social media. The video for this single also trended heavily. Have Mercy went on to peak at number 13, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That came after initially soaring to stardom with her sister Halle, as the group Chloe x Halle.

Now, Have Mercy has achieved another huge milestone. According to Chart Data, the single is now certified platinum in the US. This comes after selling over 1 million units.

Chlöe went on to perform Have Mercy at various award shows, such as the 2021 MTV VMAs, and the 2021 American Music Awards. This single is also expected to appear on her upcoming debut solo album. Chlöe said on Instagram Live last month though, that she doesn’t know when the album will finally be released.

Chlöe has still seen even more success in 2022, as she’s released two new singles, so far. These are “Treat Me,” and “Surprise,” which was released in June. Chlöe also appeared on the remix to Capella Grey’s 2021 breakout hit single, “Gyalis.”
