Apparently, Netflix made sure Rock got paid what he was looking for. Last night, Chris Rock completely broke his silence on Will Smith’s slap. He made it clear that the slap definitely did hurt. However, where he’s from, he’s used to being hurt.

Chris Rock is actually one of the most unlikely people to have become as big of a star as he is. His career dates back to the early 1990s. Rock’s first major role was ‘Pookie’ on New Jack City. Ironically, Chris Rock’s television debut came five years later, on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Rock’s guest starring character shared many scenes with Will Smith.
