The City Girls continue to be one of the most popular duos in hip-hop. They created another hot record, in late May, with “Twerkulator.” That ended up peaking at number 51, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They’ve collaborated with some of the hottest artists in the industry and now, they want another legend on a record.
The Miami duo recently spoke with GQ‘s Me Actually series, and revealed that they want to work with Nicki Minaj. This is as others believe that this collab is something that may not happen.
“Where is the Nicki collab?” said JT. “We’re hoping for in the future, seriously. A lot of people try to make fun of it like ‘Ah, you’re never gonna get your feature,’ but you never know what can happen.”
In the end, City Girls definitely have a very good shot at working with Nicki, based on all the success they’ve had over the last three years. The question now, is when this record will come to fruition.
