Cop punches Black woman holding baby twice in the face
In Los Angeles County, there is outrage after a mother was hit in the face by a deputy sheriff. It’s unclear what led up to it, but the woman was placed under arrest. However, despite this, the woman had her infant child in her arms. As the police were arresting her, she repeatedly told them they were not taking her baby. After that, the deputy ended up hitting the woman in the face, twice.
Across the nation, there have been instances of police brutality. A bulk of these incidents have been officers of the law putting their hands on Black people. However, there have also been accounts of people of other races facing police brutality. Like most situations, situations such as these have sparked debates about whether or not there needs to be police reform.
While people debate about what should happen, more people are being victimized. A Los Angeles County woman ended up being a victim of police brutality. According to the date on the video, this situation actually took place in July of 2022. Regardless, a woman was placed under arrest while holding her infant child. As she refused to let her child go, one deputy punched the woman in the face, twice.
