Earlier this week, it was announced that DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills, would be suing DaBaby. This is for assault, battery, emotional distress and negligence. That came after getting assaulted by DaBaby, at the Corbin Bowl bowling alley in Topanga, CA, a week ago.

DaBaby reportedly assaulted Bills first, and ended up being banned from this bowling alley. Bills said he didn’t fight back, and was left with physical and psychological damage, per TMZ. Baby is also being investigated for assault with a deadly weapon.

Now, DaBaby’s legal team isn’t buying Bills’ reasoning, for the lawsuit. Baby’s attorney, Drew Findling, believes that Bills is suing the Charlotte rapper, in a “money grab” attempt. Findling also added that authorities shouldn’t be putting any effort into this investigation.

“It is offensive that this alleged victim threatened and instigated violence and has now used this incident to make a quick money grab,” said Findling to TMZ. “Garbage like this has no place adding to the backlog and wasting law enforcement time and energy.”

The DaBaby and Brandon Bills beef heated up in November, after Baby put DaniLeigh and their newborn child, on Instagram Live. DaniLeigh didn’t want this, and is said to have assaulted DaBaby after. Police ended up being called to DaBaby’s Charlotte home, as DaniLeigh was charged with two counts of simple assault. Bills went on to say how he would knock DaBaby out in a boxing match.
