Last week, Damian Lillard had NBA Twitter going crazy, once again. This was as a result of his trade request from the Portland Trailblazers finally reaching its end. Lilard went on to be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, as he’s now part of one of the best duos in the NBA now, as he’s paired with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Moreover, many now view as the Bucks as an NBA title favorite, again.
Meanwhile, Lillard also has some major changes coming to his personal life. According to the Willamette Week, Lillard has filed for divorce from his wife, Kay’la. This come after the two were together since his college days at Weber State, and went on to get married in 2021.
Lillard initially filed the divorce paperwork in Clackamas County Circuit Court, on October 2. The NBA star cited “irreconcilable differences.” This “caused the irremediable breakdown of their marriage.” Furthermore Lillard and his wife have three children, which are a five-year-old and two-year-old twin daughters. The haven’t been living together, since December of 2022. That month, Kay’La Lillard moved into a $2.7 million West Linn, Oregon home, while Damian Lillard stayed in their other $7.7 million West Linn mansion.
