Deion Sanders bans Jackson State players from leaving their Houston hotels, this weekend, after news of passing of Takeoff [VIDEO]

Deion Sanders addresses Takeoff passing in Houston to JSU team

On Tuesday morning, the music industry was shocked to hear about the passing of Migos rapper, Takeoff. He was in Houston with Quavo, as he went on to be shot and killed, while the two were at a bowling alley. The two were reportedly playing dice, when shots were soon fired, and Takeoff was hit.

However, no arrests have been made in the death of Takeoff, and the city of Houston is definitely mourning, as well as his hometown of Atlanta. Now, even Jackson State Head Coach Deion Sanders is speaking on this tragedy.

Sanders’ undefeated JSU team is taking on Texas Southern University in Houston, this weekend. As a result, he isn’t letting his players leave their hotel rooms. This was addressed to his Jackson State athletes, in a meeting, on Tuesday morning.

“Takeoff was murdered in a dice game in Houston — where we’re going. So, that eliminates all y’all leaving that hotel, ’cause it ain’t happening until I give you further notice. You cannot kick it with the same dudes you kicked it with,” Sanders continued. “You cannot associate in the same realms that you associated with. You gon’ have to change if you expect change.”
