Deion Sanders gifts Lil Wayne a Colorado football jersey  

Deion Sanders is the talk of college football right now, as he as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes has them starting the season at 2-0. This comes after the team only won one game in 2022. Sanders also has two Heisman trophy candidates on his team, which are his son Shedeur Sanders, who is the team’s quarterback. Wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter is also in the running for the Heisman, as he’s one of the most versatile players in college football. Both he and Shedeur transferred to Colorado from Jackson State, right when Deion left.

On Saturday, Colorado takes on in-state rival, Colorado State. Prior to the game, ESPN held their College GameDay show in Boulder, CO, which is the site of Colorado’s game.

As a result, both Deion Sanders and Lil Wayne appeared on the show. Sanders went on to gift Wayne a Colorado jersey, shortly before he began performing. This comes after Wayne previously visited Colorado’s football training facility, earlier this year.
