Jamal Murray really had a breakout performance when he stepped up in a major way for the Denver Nuggets during the playoffs. For his efforts and clutch ability, the Nuggets are rewarding him with a avery sizable payday to the tune of a 5 year, $170 million contract extension. This makes sense given the core set of players they’re building with including Nikola Jokić.
