Destiny Paris, the Miami Senior High School girl that Drake donated $50,000 to, for a college scholarship, from “God’s Plan” video, is graduating college with her Master’s Degree

Three years ago, Drake had people questioning what he was doing. Ending his 2017 hiatus, Drake returned, handing out money to random people. One day, Drake attended Miami Senior High School, selecting a senior, and giving her a $50,000 scholarship.

This seemed like kind gestures, but Drake had a bigger plan, in the works. The Toronto rapper was launching his Scorpion album. For the lead single, Drake was given a $1 million budget to film the video, so he decided to give the money away.

While Drake’s “God’s Plan” single eventually came and went, Destiny Paris went to work. She went to college, later that year, and she graduated, among the top of her class. Now, three years later, Destiny Paris has graduated, from the University of North Carolina, with her Master’s Degree.
