Diddy closes Justin’s restaurant in Atlanta

During the late 1990s, Diddy, who was then known as Puff Daddy, began to truly watch his dreams come true. A pursuit of wealth and power is in the ancestry of Sean Combs, but he went about his a different way than his father did. Rising the ranks at Uptown Records and then forming his own label, Bad Boy Records, he built a dynasty.

What began with just music soon led to Puff Daddy launching a clothing line, which was followed by restaurants. After crossing the multimillion dollar mark, Puff Daddy began expanding his business interests. In Manhattan, he opened a successful upscale restaurant named after his first-born son, Justin.

Following the success of Justin’s in Manhattan, Puff Daddy opened another Justin’s in what many call the New York City of the South, Atlanta. In 2007, the flagship Justin’s went out of business. Five years later, the Atlanta branch is doing the same. Revealing the closing, it was said that Diddy wants to focus on his business ventures in music, television, and film.
