This weekend, Nicki Minaj was back at it, cutting up. The famed rapper recently released QUEEN, which is her fourth album, and fans have waited a long time for it. In 2016, Nicki Minaj fans began clamoring for a new album.
When fans pressed her, Nicki Minaj jokingly told them her next album was called “pick my fruit out.” Some fell for it, while others immediately got it. Fans wanted new Nicki, long before Cardi B was any kind of threat, and still on “Love & Hip Hop,” every Monday.
Since then, there’s been a shadow competition between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. It looks like both ladies are falling for it, as Nicki Minaj went IN on DJ Akademiks for predicting Nicki would sell 190,000, first week, behind Travis Scott’s second week sales for Astroworld, when that actually did happen, but Nicki sold under 190K, which led to him clowning her.
