DJ Envy threatens Tyrese on The Breakfast Club

DJ Envy has a history of arguing with guests on “The Breakfast Club,” due to personal beef. First, there was the infamous silent treatment with DJ Drama. Second, there was the Erica Mena drama, which played out on the show. Third, was the most-infamous one, the Desus and Mero interview. Now, there is the Tyrese confrontation. Three of the four arguments stemmed from Envy’s protection of his wife. In the case of Tyrese, he threatened to hit him in the mouth.

DJ Envy became one of the biggest names in hip hop media, due to taking a risk. When Hot 97 was on top, Envy was one of many people working at the station. However, Envy made the jump to Power 105.1, following DJ Clue. Together, they helped turn Power 105.1 into a contender. When they decided to create the morning show, “The Breakfast Club,” they had a hit. In 2013, the show turned into a huge hit, with personality, Charlamagne Tha God being the breakout star.

DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God hosted Tyrese on “The Breakfast Club,” this morning. Minutes into the show, Envy ended up getting into it with Tyrese. The public knew nothing about their issues, however. But the people would soon get caught up to speed on the situation. Apparently, Tyrese made disrespectful statements towards Envy’s wife, Gia. As a result, Envy said he should “box his mouth,” but only blocked him. He unblocked him, only after learning he was on psych meds.
