21-year-old DJ Keyy, the hottest new club DJ and official tour DJ of Richie Re, has recently released his curated playlist promoting female rap. This project is titled “Keyy 2 The Streetz.” DJ Keyy and Richie Re’s ultimate goal is to create unity among the culture. The two also recently hosted a dinner dedicated to the DJs of Atlanta called ‘Respect the DJs.’

Having a legendary background, DJ Keyy has taken the role of his father ‘DJ Key’ (A&R for Maybach Music and formal DJ for Rick Ross). DJ Keyy embraced his calling at the age of 17 and started off the game DJ’ing for major artists such as Lil Tjay, Fabolous, Derez Deshon as a rookie. Now, that list has quadrupled and the artist range has surpassed many vets in the industry making him one the most wanted DJs out.

“What makes me great as a DJ goes beyond the booth. I study music, my audiences, and perfect my craft daily…I don’t say no often to bookings unless I’m booked…that’s how I become a demand in this industry. I constantly show love to artist, DJs and cultivators in music; one way or another we have to bring unity in Hip-Hop.”

Understanding the industry, Keyy thinks it’s important to not only honor DJs but those that are curated on the playlists. Keyy displays multiple tastes for music, as evident with this new mixtape promoting upcoming female rappers such as Richie Re, Mulatto, Dess Dior, DSTNI, Erica Banks, Coi Leray, PAP Chanel, Slim Jenkins, Asianae, Carla G, Big Zen, and Young Devyn. The playlist can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and YouTube.
