DJ Khaled previews J Balvin’s upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Rio”
J Balvin continues to be one of the biggest artists in the world, especially in Latin markets. Furthermore, he also continues to score more Air Jordan sneaker collaborations. One of the latest is the Air Jordan 3 “Medellin Sunset,” which is named after his hometown in Colombia. This pair is arriving on September 23.
Meanwhile, another signature J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 collaboration is also on the way. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, this is the Air Jordan 3 Rio. However, this reportedly won’t be released to the public, until the summer of 2024. These will retail at $250. Moreover, DJ Khaled also showed off a pair gifted to him, this past weekend.
The Air Jordan 3 Rio comes in an all black design, along with a navy/red/yellow combo on the soles of them. These colorways on the soles have been very frequent in Balvin’s latest Air Jordan releases.
Fans are also heavily waiting on new music from Balvin. He hasn’t released a single since July 2022’s “Nivel De Perrero,” with Ryan Castro. His last album was “Jose,” back in September 2021.
