When talking about dominant DJs in the game, often overlooked are the female DJs with the exception of radio. But, in St. Louis, there is a female DJ known on both the radio and on the mixtape circuit, making herself known in both arenas. DJ Mos P has been around for a while and has a large following.
After the success of her Grip the Wheel mixtape, DJ Mos P decided to revisit the title for her latest mixtape. Currently, DJ Mos P is working on Grip the Wheel, Vol. 2: Fun, Sex, and Dreams, which will be released later this summer. With the mixtape set to play on several stations, including DJ Mos P’s own MVP Radio, it seems to be a big draw.
Grip the Wheel, Vol. 2 will be one of the bigger mixtape releases of the year and is set to play on several radio stations. In addition to featuring mainstream music, there is also an opportunity for independent artists to be featured on the project.
