Doja Cat teases new collaboration with SZA

Doja Cat teases collaboration with SZA coming soon

Doja Cat currently has SZA buzzing, as it appears that a new collaboration between the two may be coming tonight. Doja tagged SZA on Twitter, saying “Sis…I did something bad.” Therefore, SZA went on to reply “Jesus…What is it?”

As a result, Doja tweeted back to SZA “9pm 4/13/24.” Obviously, Doja may have actually meant 2023, but it seems that this new could result in a new single between SZA and Doja coming at 9pm PT time, or even a joint album.

The last time that Doja and SZA collaborated came in April 2021. That was Doja’s “Kiss Me More” single, which went on to debut at number three in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is also certified 5x platinum in the US. Kiss Me More went on to appear on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her.” In 2022, this collaboration even won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Meanwhile, Doja recently revealed that she doesn’t want to do any more pop records, and wants to focus on rap instead. SZA also announced more shows for her “SOS” Tour, and is also expanding to Europe, this summer.
