A$AP Rocky still has to remain in jail in Stockholm, Sweden for his assault case where he defended himself and his security guard from a stalker. Artists such as Tyler, The Creator, ScHoolboy Q, and Tyga have all canceled their shows there in support of A$AP. Yesterday, Donald Trump said his “black friends” and Kanye West told him about A$AP’s situation.
This morning, Trump said that he spoke with Sweden Prime Minister Stefan Löfven. Löfven supposedly said A$AP is being treated fairly despite reports of him being in inhumane conditions. Trump added that he assured that A$AP is not a “flight risk” as he’s being labeled and that he’s vouching for his bail.
Just had a very good call with @SwedishPM Stefan Löfven who assured me that American citizen A$AP Rocky will be treated fairly. Likewise, I assured him that A$AP was not a flight risk and offered to personally vouch for his bail, or an alternative….

It’s hard to believe that Trump is actually going to make A$AP’s release happen. Publicity is what feeds Trump’s ego and making it seem like he cares about a black man wrongfully incarcerated will try to make it seem like he’s less racist. It seems that Kanye is still MAGA too.
