DoorDash driver refuses to give customer their food over $8 tip

Lately, DoorDash employees have been doing the most to their customers. A few days ago, an employee for the company went off on a customer for leaving no tip. Among other things, that man referred to the customer as a “loser.” However, at least that DoorDash employee allowed their customer to receive their food. In New York, a DoorDasher turned their nose up at being left only an $8 tip. As a result, they refused to deliver the customer’s meal to them.

Currently, the service industry is in shambles, for many reasons. There are many who still blame the pandemic on things being unorganized. Truthfully, there are likely many reasons for why things are not right. What is evident is that service workers are fed up and the customers are, too. So, with that in mind, they are taking their frustrations out on each other. More often than not, that is leading to all kinds of confrontations.

In New York, a DoorDash employee came to a customer’s house and started an argument. She was upset that the man only left her an $8 tip. The woman said she drove 12 miles and it took 40 minutes. As a result, she said she deserved more. In turn, the customer told her that trip should have only taken 15 minutes. Still, the woman told the man she would not give him his meal. Instead, she decided to take his meal back to the restaurant.
