Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss” hits platinum eligibility
Last month, Drake and 21 Savage released one of the hottest projects of the year, with their “Her Loss” joint album. 16 new songs were released, including a collaboration with Travis Scott.
Her Loss went on to easily debut at number one in the US, as it has one of the highest selling first week album sales of 2022. Fans praised 21 and Drake’s chemistry, as they’ve always been solid on record together, since 2016.
Her Loss has also now reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now sold over 1 million in the US. This makes it eligible for platinum certification.
Drake and 21 also performed songs from the album for the first time, earlier this month. This was at Lil Baby’s birthday concert in Atlanta, at State Farm Arena.
Drake has been extremely consistent in 2022, as Her Loss was his second album of the year. In June, he put out his seventh studio album, “Honestly, Nevermind.” That became Drake’s seventh straight number one solo studio album, as every album in his career has achieved this mark. He also recently revealed that he’s planning to tour, sometime in 2023.
