Drake and 21 Savage break Spotify record with “Her Loss” album
On Friday, Drake and 21 Savage finally released their highly anticipated joint album, “Her Loss.” This contained 16 new tracks, as well as an appearance from Travis Scott. Drake and 21 have always shown impressive chemistry together since 2016, as fans were ready to see what they would bring, on this project.
Her Loss received plenty of praises online, even despite the fact that Drake dissed numerous people. This includes supposedly Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, and even took direct shots at Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian.
However, many anticipated that Drake and 21 would have a number one album with Her Loss, and it appears to be heading in that direction. According to Chart Data, the album has broken the record for biggest single day streams for a collaboration album in Spotify history, with over 97 million. 21 and Drake each displayed different forms of versatility on Her Loss, as many believe that this is one of their greatest projects of their career.
Her Loss is also Drake’s second project of 2022. In June, he released his seventh studio album, “Honestly, Nevermind.” That went on to easily become his seventh straight number one solo album.
