Because of his success as a rapper, fans often forget Drake was an actor who decided to try his hand at rapping. Fortunately for the former “Degrassi” star, he went on to have a successful career. Since he has proven to be successful at music, Drake is eyeing a return to acting. After the release of Take Care, Drake announced he was working on his third album, along with planning to land more acting gigs.
One role Drake would love to take is the role of President Obama. With the president up for re-election later this year, he has become an even bigger news topic than he already was. Due to both Drake and the president being bi-racial, they are often impersonated by the same people. Alphacat, known as “The Obama Guy” during the election season, began doing Drake impressions to keep his name out there.
Recently Drake interviewed with VH1 and said he hopes someone does a film about the life of Obama, because he could play him. Every time President Obama is on television, Drake says he stops and watches. After watching people over a period of time, Drake can imitate them. Drake said everyone who knows him knows he is good at impressions.
