Drake wins $2.1 million after betting on Chiefs to win AFC Championship Game; Loses $850,000 after bet on 49ers in NFC Championship Game

Drake wins $2.1 million after betting on Kansas City Chiefs

The upcoming Super Bowl matchup is now set, after the conclusion of the AFC and NFC Championship Game, on Sunday. The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs both punched their tickets to the SB, as that game will take place in Phoenix, AZ, on February 12. Rihanna will also be headlining the halftime show, that night.

Drake is one of a celebrity who’s known to frequently bet on sports, including on Sunday’s games. He won a massive bet for the AFC Championship Game, as he bet over $1.1 million on the Chiefs, on Stake. That is the betting platform that he has ownership. As a result of the bet on the Chiefs defeating the Cincinnati Bengals, Drake won $2.1 million. Drake is known to place these massive wagers, especially since he’s one of the most wealthy artists in the world.

However, Drake did take a loss in the NFC Championship game. He had the San Francisco 49ers taking the win on the road in Philly, but that ended up costing him an $850,000 bet. The 49ers did run into some bad luck in the game, as Quarterback Brock Burdy suffered a shoulder injury. He would later come back into the game, but wasn’t as efficient, due to his injury.
