Draymond Green yells at Ja Morant after blocking his layup
Draymond Green is the emotional leader of the Golden State Warriors. When Ja Morant called the Warriors out, Draymond began taking him on, insulting him on Twitter. After all of the insults, Ja told the Warriors to meet him and the Grizzlies in Memphis. As a result, Draymond laughed it off, telling Morant that the Warriors are the defending champions, and the Grizzlies would be coming to San Francisco. On Christmas day, the Warriors and Grizzlies faced off.
Draymond Green is celebrating his tenth anniversary with the Golden State Warriors. At the time of his arrival, Draymond joined a young core led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Even back then, their then-coach, Mark Jackson, said Steph and Klay were the greatest backcourt duo of all time. As a result, people laughed at him, and the Warriors. Two years later, the Warriors had the NBA’s best record, and won the NBA championship.
Draymond Green has taken on the Ja Morant beef. Much of his insults towards Ja stem from him calling out Golden State, while not having a ring of his own. While Ja Morant is only in his fourth season, he has yet to lead the Memphis Grizzlies past the second round of the playoffs. Last season, the Warriors eliminated the Grizzlies in the second round. On Christmas day, the Warriors blew the Grizzlies out. During the game, Draymond blocked Ja, and then screamed at him.
