E-40 and Sacramento Kings say “miscommunication” led to 40 being ejected from Game 1 of Warriors-Kings playoff series; 40 initially claimed “racial bias” occurred after being heckled by white Kings fan

Sacramento Kings say “miscommunication” led to E-40’s ejection

Last weekend, E-40 was suddenly ejected, during the Sacramento Kings’ 126-123 home win over the Golden State Warriors, in Game 1 of their first round playoff series. That was also the Kings’ first playoff game since 2006.

E-40 was in attendance at the Golden 1 Center, to support his home team Warriors. However, he went on to be ejected from the game, after he reportedly responded to a white Kings fan that was heckling him. 40 claimed that “racial bias” was at play, and didn’t attend Game 2, which the Warriors lost as well.

As a result, the Kings launched an investigation, and concluded that a “miscommunication” occurred in this situation. This comes as the team and E-40 released a joint statement together, according to CBS Sacramento. 40 was also initially accused of excessive standing, blocking the view of the game of the fans seated behind him.

Therefore, E-40 will be at the Chase Center on Thursday night, to continue supporting his Warriors. The team has their backs against the wall in this series, as they currently face an 0-2 hole. The Kings are the third seed in the Western Conference, as Mike Brown also won the Coach of the Year award, this week.
