“Why, then, must it go on? We must stop the killing. Tell me why we die? We all God’s children” – Nas.

The hip hop world is still reeling from the death of Chinx, one of the most-energetic figures in the game. Serving as the right-hand man to French Montana, Chinx dominated the mixtape scene for years. He made one major banger with “Ima Coke Boy,” which had a big remix.

Chinx was French Montana’s right-hand man and he represented the Coke Boys brand to the fullest. But, Chinx was his own man and he went out and got his own record deal. This year, Chinx released his final Cocaine Riot mixtape and was working on his debut album before he was shot and killed.

Ebro is someone who knew Chinx well and he interviewed him on Hot 97 in November 2013, discussing his newfound financial success in the game. As someone who knew Chinx well, Ebro talked about him and the type of man he was. In the conversation, Ebro talked to DJ E-Stylez about the legacy Chinx was building as a rapper and a man.
