Employees at Makeda’s Cookies, in Memphis, Are Reportedly “Traumatized,” After Witnessing Young Dolph’s Murder; Will Be Able to Take as Much Time Off as Possible and Continue to Receive Paychecks

It’s now been over two days, since Young Dolph was shot and killed, in his hometown of Memphis. This occurred at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies, on the south side of Memphis. Two men pulled up to the front of the store, where they let off multiple shots, while Dolph was purchasing cookies for his mother.

Police have since identified the car that the two shooters were riding in, as a white two-door, E Class edition. The suspects are also being listed as two males, who wore dark colored jackets, and gray or light colored pants. They are also wanted on the charge of first degree murder.

Many are also concerned about the mental well being of Makeda’s employees as well. They knew Dolph well, as he visited this store frequently. According to TMZ, they are currently said to be “traumatized, distraught and in disbelief.”

Store owners, Maurice and Pamela Hill, say that employees are will be allowed to take as much time off as they need. They will continue to receive their full pay, as well. Thankfully, none of the employees working at Makeda’s that day, were injured.

Makeda’s has since been boarded up, in the aftermath of this shooting. It’s unclear when the store will be reopened, but supporters can donate at their GoFundMe link, here.
