A lot can be said about Fabolous and his career, in terms of him living up the hype that once surrounded him. Early on, Fabolous received comparisons to Jay-Z, although those comparisons are far from fair. At the very least, Fabolous can say he was signed by Jay-Z twice, once to Def Jam (2006) and to Roc Nation only days ago.

Fabolous joining Roc Nation was one of two announcements he made. The Brooklyn emcee revealed he had a new project in the works, The Young OG Project, which is due in a couple of days. With this new project, Fabolous is going digital only and fans can get their copy on iTunes.

This afternoon, Fabolous released the artwork for The Young OG Project. With a little under two weeks to go until Christmas, fans were definitely looking out to see something in relation to this release. It’s shaping up to be a strong close for Fabolous in a 2014 where he was relatively silent.
