Family ordered Subway sandwiches knowing they had no money
In this day and age, pride has gone out the window, as people will do anything to get ahead. There was a time when people would be embarrassed to get food and be unable to pay for it. Nowadays, people do that in order to gain sympathy. As a result, somebody feels sorry enough to pay for their meals. At a local Subway, that almost happened, but another customer spoke out. A husband, wife, and their children were unable to pay for their Subway meals, so the customer behind them called them out.
Currently, times are hard, as inflation has made things very uncomfortable. As it stands, most major companies are unwilling to spend much money on the extras. So if the people who actually make the real money are not spending, that speaks volumes about the every day man. However, when it comes to fast food, people make an exception. After all, fast food is one of the most American parts of the American experience.
One family was at a local Subway restaurant trying to order their meals. While receiving their food, the husband began to eat his sandwich. However, when it was time to pay, the family was $10 short. As a result, the cashier began to make up the difference. When that happened, the person behind the family in line called the family out. He accused them of doing this every day and he kept talking until the family left and the husband threw his food in the trash.
