Five people fatally wounded in Denver nightclub shooting
In Colorado, there are an alarming number of mass shootings that take place. This morning, Colorado residents are waking up to news of yet another shooting. In Denver, people hit the town hoping to enjoy the night. As a result, they ended up going to a popular nightclub. Due to the club being specified for the LGBTQ+ audiences, someone felt the need to ruin the party. Instead of a good time, a shooting took place, leaving people running for their lives. Not everyone was fortunate enough to make it out.
Six years ago, Orlando was the center of a similar tragedy. Years later, people still talk about the Pulse nightclub shooting. Several people wound up losing their lives for no reason. Ultimately, if a person has issues with the preferences of another person, it is in their best interest to simply not attend. Instead, there are fringe groups of people who feel the need to commit senseless acts of violence. As a result, situations such as these end up taking place.
Only two weeks after the Philadelphia shooting, Denver is dealing with another shooting. Outside of this nightclub, there were five people who lost their lives. However, there were a number of other people who were also wounded, but have survived. Those people were rushed to nearby hospitals, where their injuries are being treated. As of press time, it is unclear what condition these people may be in, other than that they survived the initial shooting.
