Though he is credited for bringing New York hip hop back to prominence in the mainstream hip hop world, French Montana has yet to drop his album. French Montana caused a bidding war in 2011 and he fielded offers from Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Diddy. Ultimately, the choice was made to go to Bad Boy Records.

French Montana is currently the face of Bad Boy Records and, thus, the focal point of the company. Long before Bad Boy Records boasted their diverse roster of talent from all over the world, The Notorious B.I.G. held things down from Brooklyn. Through his album release date, French Montana will pay homage to this.

May 21 is when Excuse My French will be released. In promotion of his album, French Montana is performing at shows all around the country. Most recently, French Montana went to Machine Gun Kelly’s hometown of Cleveland. French Montana released footage of his time in Cleveland.
