Future’s “I Never Liked You” goes gold

A month ago, Future released his highly anticipated ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” Future had fans excited, after seeing the cover art, and revealing the stacked tracklist. He included 16 tracks, as well as appearances from Drake, Tems, Kodak Black, Kanye West, and more. Six more songs were added on the I Never Liked You deluxe, as “Worst Day” was put in, as well as features from 42 Dugg, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and more.

I Never Liked You soon debuted at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. That became Future’s seventh straight number one album, and his eighth overall. “Wait For U,” featuring Drake and Tems also became the number one album in the US.

Now, I Never Liked You has reached a new milestone. According to Chart Data, it is now at gold eligibility, in the US. This comes after selling over 500,000 units. This also comes after Wait For U became the fastest song to go gold so far, in 2022.  I Never Liked You was Future’s first album since May 2020’s “High Off Life,” as the wait was worth it for his fans, based on its latest massive success.
