A year ago, Future hinted towards being the latest rapper to drop a surprise album. Surprise albums and streaming wars were made famous when Drake dropped, last year. Then, he almost joined Jay Z over at TIDAL, before joining Apple Music.
Future soon dropped his DS2 to tremendous critical reception from the masses. In the end, Future finally capitalized off his and Drake’s chemistry, doing a joint mixtape. Since then, Future has done exclusive releases on Apple Music and sang hooks for Jay Z.
Now, Future is focused on getting yet another project out. His latest effort will be Monster 2, according to Spinrilla. The mixtape, just like the original Monster from 2014, will be hosted by DJ Esco.
