Last year, around this time, Future watched as his stock continued to rise. Already a member of the Dungeon Family, Future was used to being around stars. But, Future saw himself becoming a star.
Future quickly found himself signed to Epic Records. Rocko signed Future to his A1 Recordings and included his Freebandz Gang. Yes, there was A1 Freebandz Gang, but Future also wanted something solo.
Learning some aspects of business from Rocko, Future entered his own negotiations with L.A. Reid. The result of these discussions is Future and Epic Records now being partnered in the new venture, Freebandz Gang. This deal coincides with Future annoucning their upcoming mixtape, The Movie.
