Eleven years ago, Future rose from being one of many local rappers making noise in Atlanta to being a superstar. He was a part of a wave, coming out of the A. That time period saw Atlanta have a resurgence. But, of the rappers from that era, Future was the only one with staying power.
During the Valentine’s Day season, Future couldn’t help but get in on the action. Mocking his own romantic entanglements, Future recruited Kevin Samuels for his “Worst Day” music video. That video is the most interest Future has generated with his music, in five years.
Future released “Mask Off,” in 2017, and the song became a massive hit. The success of “Mask Off” made it Future’s biggest single of his career. With the music video, Future went all out, having Amber Rose star in the visual. While Valentine’s Day was last week, Future is still celebrating the season. He gave the men some advice, which may shock some people. The Atlanta rapper advised men to gift their women with $100,000, instead of just giving flowers.
