Gervonta Davis denies assaulting baby mama

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, star boxer Gervonta Davis was arrested in Parkland, FL. That came after he allegedly punched his baby mama, at his home. As a result, he was arrested and charged with battery domestic violence.

On Wednesday evening 911 audio of the call place by the woman was released. There, she explained how Gervonta was supposedly intending to take her life.

“Please help me. I need help, please! I’m trying to go home, I have a baby in the car and he attacked me in front of the kid … He’s going to kill me.”

As a result, Gervonta went on to release a statement on Instagram, on Wednesday night. He claimed that he didn’t assault his baby mama, and that he was watching a movie with his child, at the time.

“DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE MISGUIDE YOU ALL ON THIS BULLSH*T…THIS WAS JUSY YESTERDAY MOMENTS BEFORE ME AND MY CHILD MOTHER HAD ARGUMENT! WATCHING FROZEN WITH MY OLDEST DAUGHTER ..I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY MOTHER NOR MY [redacted] DAUGHTER ARE YOU F***ING CRAZY!!” 

“IM NOT A MONSTER I BEEN QUIET FOR TOO LONG. I DONT HAVE MEDIA TEAM, PR, GOOD LAWYER…spokesman nothing off that.. THATS THE ONLY REASON IM DOING THIS NOW! JUST TO CLEAR MY NAME!”

Gervonta is also supposed to fight Hector Luis Garcia, on January 7, in Washington, D.C. It’s unclear if the match will be called off, at this point Gervonta has an undefeated professional record, at 27-0.
