Gervonta Davis pleads guilty to traffic offenses in 2020 hit-and-run

Gervonta Davis continues to run into even more legal woes, all while being one of boxing’s top rising stars. This time, he has entered a guilty plea to four traffic offenses, regarding a 2020 hit-and-run incident, in his hometown of Baltimore, according to TMZ.

These are one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily injury, driving with a revoked license, running a red light, and failing to notify of property damage. Davis was initially facing 14 total charges.

Davis entered this plea in a Baltimore court room, on Thursday. The incident initially occurred back on November 2020, as he ran a red light in his Lamborghini, and collided into another vehicle. The victim was a pregnant woman, as she stated that Davis looked at her, but never offered any form of help. He will be sentenced on May 5.

However, Davis also has a hearing this month, after his baby mama initially claimed that he assaulted her, on December 27. She went on to attempt to recant that accusation on social media, shortly after. Davis is also planning to schedule a fight with Ryan Garcia, sometime this spring.
