Gervonta Davis trended on Friday, after it was revealed that his fight vs Ryan Garcia has officially been finalized. That highly anticipated matchup will take place on April 22, in Las Vegas.
However, more legal issues are plaguing Davis. Last week, he plead guilty to four charges in 2020 hit-and-run case in his hometown of Baltimore. As a result, Davis will be sentenced on May 5. He was also recently accused of assaulting his baby mama. But, he is also now facing another lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Davis is being sued for allegedly punching an NYC parking lot attendant, in the chest. This incident is said to have occurred in March 22, during a heated altercation. The victim is reportedly Arturo Jimenez.
Jiminez works at thee Edison Park Fast garage, as he said he worked a shift on March 8. Davis went on to ask for his keys returned, for his Cadillac Escalade. Jimenez supposedly had to work with another present customer and didn’t realize that Davis also asked someone else to get the car. Therefore, the boxer “stop f***ing playing with me,” and punched Jimenez in the chest.
As a result of that punch, Jimenez is said to have sustained “multiple bodily injuries.” A coworker went on to bring Jimenez to a garage, to avoid further injuries caused by Davis. He eventually paid a parking fee after refusing to do so.
Jimenez is seeking unspecified damages, in this lawsuit. He is also looking to get medical bills paid off, due to the injuries he suffered.
