GloRilla rose to fame, a year ago, when “FNF” took off. It’s mostly forgotten now, but Saweetie originally jumped on the record. That co-sign from Saweetie helped GloRilla become a household name. However, due to clearance issues, Saweetie wasn’t actually able to be on the official song. As a result, GloRilla only officially had the co-sign. A year later, Glo is leading a new generation of female rappers. Much of what she says echoes the girls on social media. Her new video has her saying women should be toxic.

GloRilla is yet another rapper from Memphis that’s blowing up. In addition, she is one of many female rappers debuting to major success. Also, she is one of a large number of new artists, over the past decade, to get the Drake co-sign. There’s a lot going for GloRilla and she happens to be the first in this new trend. As a result, what she says and does amasses a huge audience. So, her recent statement is being held up for scrutiny.

GloRilla had a lot of momentum, early last year, and she turned it into something. Within her hometown, the city of Memphis, GloRilla gained the key co-signs. She got Yo Gotti and Moneybagg Yo’s co-signs. In addition, she had Saweetie that helped make her a household name. After that, Drake gave her the co-sign. As a result, GloRilla is one of the biggest rappers in the game. With her influence, Glo is now saying what young women on social media say, that women should be toxic in their twenties.
