Gunna creates his first social media posts since jail release; Calls for Young Thug’s release and pays homage to Lil Keed
Gunna asks for release of Young Thug & pays homage to Lil Keed
Monday was officially the start of Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial. This comes after he, Gunna, and 26 other members of their crew were arrested and indicted, last May. However, Gunna and many of the YSL members received plea deals and were released from jail over the past month, as they admitted that YSL is a gang, and not just a record label.
Regarding Gunna, he received one year of prison, to which he had time credited already. He also has a 4-year suspended sentence, as he needs to stay out of trouble.
However, Gunna is now breaking his silence. He took to Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday night, to call for the release of Young Thug and fellow YSL member Yak Gotti. That post was made for Gunna’s main IG feed. On Twitter, he paid homage to the late Lil Keed, who was a member of YSL, and passed away last May. It was recently revealed that he passed as a result of eosinophilia.
Therefore, Thug hasn’t been able to receive any plea deals, as the Atlanta D.A. appears to be aiming to take him down, due to being the leader of YSL and their activities.
