People from all walks of life have to admit they have at least heard of the movie, Friday, even if they didn’t watch it. This movie was Ice Cube’s first time producing a film as the head guy. Before this, Ice Cube made his name as an actor on Boyz N The Hood.
Ice Cube caught the film bug and he never let it go. His ability to construct a solid team and cast the likes of Chris Tucker, Terry Lister, John Witherspoon, the late Bernie Mac, and the rest says a lot. Friday is a classic film and will always be remembered.
Today marks the official twentieth anniversary of the film and Ice Cube was feeling nostalgic, as anyone would. He took to both his Instagram and Twitter to flood the internet with photos from the film. Of course, the fans loved being a part of this and taking the trip down memory lane, so thank God and Ice Cube for Friday as J. Cole does.
